Renting a holiday house at Guerlédan in Brittany

Print

In Brittany, in the south of the Côtes d’Armor, the sea spray become mysterious mists in this land of waters, woods and moors. Just a stone’s throw from the sea, the Country of Guerlédan-Argoat reveals you the charms of a multi-faceted nature : the Lake Guerlédan looking like the Canadian ones (400 ha), the channel from Nantes to Brest, the gorges of Toul Goulic, the moors of Liscuis and Locarn, the Chaos of Corong where the legend tells: “A long time ago, a giant named Boudédé, first man in Brittany, while passing close to the stream, would have thrown there the stones which cluttered its shoe. Those would have grown there, thus forming chaos…”.

On these remarkable sites, you will be free to devote your time doing a range of different activities from the most resting (walking, swimming, sunbathing, fishing.) to the most dynamic (excursions, climbing, canoe-kayak, VTT, mini-rafting, horse riding…).

Travelling along, you will discover many archaeological remains (megalithic sites) and an extremely varied architectural heritage : chapels, abbey, fountains, wash houses…

On the festive side, the traditional Breton dance and music liven up the area with festoùnoz and festivals throughout the year.

Enjoy your stay…
